GET A PIECE OF HYPERSCIENCES
HyperSciences accesses geothermal energy by firing projectiles towards hard rock at speeds up to Mach 5, helping us access geothermal deposits up to 5X faster and cheaper than what’s currently available. That means we can access geothermal energy just about anywhere. Geothermal heat supplies 24/7 energy and is 100% renewable. This solves the problems associated with other energy sources: fossil fuels are quickly depleting (becoming more costly), and other renewables like wind and solar have drawbacks, like intermittent power or costly storage.
*All product images included on this page are HyperSciences prototypes currently in the research & development stage and are not yet available to the public.
OVERVIEW
HyperSciences was inspired by a 1970s DARPA initiative — Project REAM — that used high-velocity shots to break through rock. Project REAM was extremely effective but was not cost-efficient at breaking rock.
HyperCore technology is the foundation for each of our platforms: drilling, tunneling, and aerospace. It uses low-cost chemical energy to efficiently accelerate projectiles to high velocities (Mach 5 and above).
Our hypersonic accelerators robotically fire small projectiles into the ground that directly break and pulverize the rock with meteor-like energy, allowing us to reach hard-to-get energy resources, extract rare Earth metals without harmful strip mining, and quickly create transportation tunnels thanks to our ability to move earth quicker.
*Images are computer generated demo versions.
We have tested and proven our ability to drill holes 5X faster and at a lower cost than other conventional drilling applications. We are also developing the technology to 3D map subsurface geography, utilizing our continuous micro-impacts to easily locate deposits using a sonar-like process.
THE PROBLEM
Because wind and solar are intermittent, geothermal is the future for clean 24/7 baseload power. Today’s geothermal drilling, however, is fundamentally too slow and thus too expensive to realize this future.
THE SOLUTION
HyperSciences' vision is to reduce the cost of installed geothermal wells by greater than 50% while also making them quicker to drill. The HyperCore engine, which powers our HyperDrill, is an enabling technology that can make these wells competitive with other renewable sources of power.
THE MARKET
By building a platform technology company, HyperSciences has a leg-up when it comes to market cap, allowing us to pursue the tens of billions of dollars represented by the drilling, tunneling, mining and hypersonics markets. Learnings in each business vertical help improve our overall platform technology. We see significant market opportunities across several markets where we intend to compete:
The Geothermal Energy market, expected to be valued at more than $112B by 2032 (Source), is of paramount importance to the US government, but the cost of drilling is prohibitive. To quote a recent government report on geothermal drilling technologies:
(Source)
We have plans to leverage our technology into the global mining and hypersonic technology markets, which presents opportunities across three massive markets.
OUR TRACTION
The key to our success has been building customer confidence through smaller demonstrations of our technology. In 2019, we completed aerospace testing with NASA. Since then, we’ve been conducting HyperDrill field trials for Shell and other major corporations under NDA. These demonstrations allow us to stair step our technology towards many applications, including a geothermal future.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Our engineering and advisory team is composed of experts in aerospace, hypersonics, geology, energy and mineral drilling, robotic automation and machine learning, and business. The broad team possesses the deep technical knowledge and business acumen needed to realize this revolutionary technology.

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.
With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.
At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.
Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.
StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.
For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.
For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.
Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.
Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.
Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. SE BB is distinct and separate from SE Secondary. SE Secondary facilitates the trading of securities by matching orders between buyers and sellers and facilitating executions of trades on the platform. While a security may be displayed on the bulletin board, these securities will be subject to certain restrictions which may prevent the ability to buy and sell these securities in a timely manner, if at all. Even if a security is qualified to be displayed on the bulletin board, there is no guarantee an active trading market for the securities will ever develop, or if developed, be maintained. Investing in private company securities is not suitable for all investors. An investment in private company securities is highly speculative and involves a high degree of risk. It should only be considered a long-term investment. You must be prepared to withstand a total loss of your investment. Private company securities are also highly illiquid, and there is no guarantee that a market will develop for such securities. Each investment also carries its own specific risks, and you should complete your own independent due diligence regarding the investment. This includes obtaining additional information about the company, opinions, financial projections, and legal or other investment advice. Accordingly, investing in private company securities is appropriate only for those investors who can tolerate a high degree of risk and do not require a liquid investment.
